What is your philosophy of supervision?

Dr. Kidkarndee is an integrative clinical psychologist. He draws from an interpersonal psychodynamic framework while integrating acceptance and commitment therapy. There is an emphasize on helping supervisees to identify their values and then take action to live in accordance with those values. Dr. K also incorporates aspects of other empirical-based theories that best serve the needs of the supervisee (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family systems).

What is your approach to supervision?

Clinical supervision is an active, collaborative process. Supervision will be catered to the supervisse's professional development goals as a psychotherapist while being sensitive to the supervisee's emerging theoretical orientation to psychotherapy. Additionally, supervision will focus on developing and refining one's professional identity, counseling skills, adherence to relevant ethical codes and legal statutes, and case conceptualization.
